Young Disciples
Here at Sand Point Community United Methodist Church, we believe that young people are the heart of the church.

We do our best to make our space a welcoming and affirming space for the young people in our community.

Our young disciples ministry at Sand Point Community are for young people 0-18.
Meet our Children, Youth and Families Ministry Director

Jessi Ford brings many years of experience in ministry, working with people of all ages—from
newborns to one-hundred-and-six-year-olds.
One of my greatest passions is bringing people together to have fun, learn, and grow. I’m a lifelong Mariners fan; meeting Ichiro was a highlight of my life. Jessi and her wife have 3 children all under 7 years old. In her free time, you might find Jessi doing photography, ballroom dancing, and knitting.

Pathfinders
Here at Sand Point Community we believe that children experience their faith through their senses. Each week young disciples ages 0-5th grade, start in worship with their families. There is a young disciples moment before the sermon and then our young disciples are dismissed for their lesson, snack, and fellowship time.

Sand.Point.Youth

The constant growth and spiritual well-being of the young people in our care doesn't stop when they enter middle school.
In fact, this is when young people need community the most.
Our program for the youth is being reimagined. If you'd to stay updated, please check back on our website, instagram or send Jessi Ford an email.
